Game producer, Michael Gamble, has recently revealed some interesting new development updates for BioWare's next installment for the "Mass Effect" franchise, dubbed as "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
On his most recent interview with the official PlayStation magazine for its Christmas 2016 edition in the United Kingdom, Gamble updated the fans that the studio is now currently tweaking the size of the game's worlds, according to the report from PowerUp Gaming. He noted that BioWare wanted to "create experiences that have the right density and amount of content."
"We're trying to see where the limits are, and we don't want to make something too small where there's not enough exploration, but we also don't want to make it too big where it's empty and lifeless. We want to find that balance," Gamble continued.
While space exploration is no doubt exciting for the fans, worlds with lots of empty, lifeless spaces can certainly make it boring rather quickly, particularly for the ones who like to roam. With this movie, BioWare would most certainly give the worlds of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" more dynamic, GameRant reported.
Luckily, exploration is not the only pillar that the "Mass Effect" franchise is based on, relationship building is also one of its foundations. Gamble also shed some light on how the relationship system in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" would work, specifically the dialogue options saying that it will progress "as naturally as possible."
This will determine the texture of the conversation between the player and the other main characters in "Mass Effect: Andromeda," whether it'd be to come off as flirtatious or even perhaps colder.
Meanwhile, it seems like fans shouldn't expect to see or hear any news regarding the possible Virtual Reality support of "Mass Effect: Andromeda," or even for Microsoft's Project Scorpio. Gamble, in a different interview, has revealed that BioWare currently has no plans for the platforms, but he did mention, though, that it "would be cool" for the game to have VR features.
