Power banks are all the rage now, thanks to users who are always on the go. But still, they pale in comparison next to the ProBrick and the ProBrick+, multifunctional power bricks released in March. Not only can it power phones, but also laptops, tablets, and even cars.

Specifications

Tired of hauling around different chargers for your gadgets? The ProBrick and the ProBrick+ are designed to be compact and travel-friendly. At 169 grams, it is just about as heavy as a phablet. It has two power brick variants: the PUH501 (ProBrick) and the PUH501-NB (ProBrick+), which both sport four USB 3.0 charging ports and hubs.

This means that users can plug into the ProBrick and the ProBrick+ to charge and to transfer and access data from connected devices at the same time, according to Hardware Zone. The Probrick is more basic, with its 12A charging and USB V-cable, while the ProBrick+ is 5V/16A. The only difference between the ProBrick and the ProBrick+ is that the ProBrick+ is powerful enough that it could charge notebook laptops and even cars.

Features

The ProBrick+ is also a universal notebook charger and comes with nine interchangeable laptop charging tips for different brands such as Acer, Dell, and HP. Beyond that, the ProBrick and the ProBrick+ can also transfer data at speeds of up to 5 gbps and among four 2TB hard disks simultaneously, according to The New Paper.

Price details

Given its impressive range of specs and features, the price details should no longer come as a surprise. The ProBrick (PUH-501) is the less pricey between the two power bricks, pegged at $108. The ProBrick+, which has more utility for people who use laptops on the go, is pegged at $158, according to Hardware Zone.
