New 'Pokemon' Series Coming Soon To Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch is the new innovator in the gaming industry as it can transform from a handheld type mode to a living room console. As the first hybrid gaming console in the industry, the company plans to release a "Pokemon" game in the future for the Switch.

Since Nintendo is expected to release the Nintendo Switch in 2017, the Japanese company depends on how future gamers will use the gaming console. In a recent interview with Nintendo Everything, Game Freak's Junichi Masuda talked about how the "Pokemon" franchise can be played on the hybrid pad.

Masuda highlighted that gamers have no idea how they will use the hybrid gaming console. However, once it's out, the company will definitely study how to apply the "Pokemon" franchise into the Nintendo hybrid. Masuda further stated that communication is also a key element in improving the "Pokemon" game title.

Nintendo Switch is the future for a new "Pokemon" game, added Matsuda, but Game Freaks will reportedly further study and analyze how users play and think about how to develop the "Pokemon" game. With that in mind, it seems Nintendo and Game Freaks are really taking the necessary steps to making sure the title gets launched for this console soon.

Meanwhile, Nintendo Insider reports that the Japanese company is preparing for its annual Nintendo Game Music Live 2017, which will be held in January 14 and 15. The Music concert will consist of Nintendo special bands playing iconic melodies in jazz and rock arrangements.

The Nintendo Game Music Live will be the closing performance for the Nintendo Switch Presentation that will be held at January 12, 2017 and play the same music that they performed at the Makuhari Messe for Niconico Chokaigi 2014. Those who want to watch the Nintendo event can tune in to Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe with the presentation starting at 8pm PT.
