The Best Xbox Free Games Worth Downloading Now

They say that the best things in life are free. Yes, this applies to all, even to the Xbox games that are offered without any fee.

These plays are under Microsoft's "games of gold" to act as a counterpart of Sony's PlayStation Plus program. Signing up for this program will make members eligible for receiving a number of free games from the Xbox store on a monthly basis.

But first, Xbox Live Gold members should sign-in with their consoles and purchase the "free games" which are only available in a certain period. Games of Gold are both available for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

According to TecRevue, there are about four games released every month for at least two weeks, and these are available for two in every console. This means that there will be two downloadable free Xbox games in the first half of the month, and another two free Xbox games in the second half. However, owners must take note that Microsoft changes it release schedule with or without announcing.

The thing is, Xbox owners doesn;t need to "actually" download the plays they like when it is available instead, they must at least finish the "free purchase" online or through their consoles to be able to qualify. Once the promotional period of a certain games expires, it will not be free anymore and will get back to its original price. But, if you have "purchased" the free game before the period, it will be for free, definitely.

Here are some of the Games with Gold plus its dates that you should take note of: first it the "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition" which is available from December 1 - 31 on Xbox One. Then, there's "Outlast" that is offered for free from December 16 - January 15 for Xbox One Users. Next in line is "Burnout Paradise" which is available from December 16 - 31 which are both offered for Xbox One and Xbox 360 users. (via BGR)
