Sony Xperia X Series News: New Amazing Features After Android 7.0 Nougat Update

The update will start rolling out this month to selected countries, and will eventually become available to the rest of the world. So here are the new features in the Xperia X series Android 7.0 Nougat update that users will enjoy.
Multi-window support
The multi-window support feature now in the Sony Xperia X series smartphone. This feature makes your handset simultaneously run two apps, and by double-tapping your screen you can switch between these apps.
Manual camera settings
Manual camera settings control with manual focus and shutter speed controls feature is included in the Xperia X series Android 7.0 Nougat. This feature is similar to the Sony's newer model the Xperia XZ. This feature enables users to manipulate all camera settings, just like a DSLR in manual mode.
Improved battery life
According to First Post report, the Android 7.0 Nougat update of Xperia X brings some improvements on the battery life of the device. The company also claims that their collaboration with Google helps them for this improvement.
Stamina mode and Doze-mode enhancements are also reportedly included in the update. After the Android 7.0 Nougat update on Xperia X series handsets, December security patches will also be added.
Sony has officially announced on Twitter that the Android 7.0 Nougat Xperia X update. Separately, the Xperia Blog report said that this update was available few days prior to the tweet.
Gadgets360 report cited that this Android 7.0 Nougat update for Xperia X devices has a total size of 1,276.7MB. The last Xperia handset to receive the update are the A series. Xperia Z4 and Z4v, which was launched in 2015, have been left out from this update.
Sony Xperia X series users in India, Latin America, Middle East, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Vietnam have started receiving the said update. Other countries are expected to also receive this update on January.
