In its investigation, they also found out that the gadget will have AC Adapter input of AC 100 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz, 1 A - something that is power brick for global compatibility. With this info about Nintendo Switch, NEOGAF user Traktor had deduced that it is actually region-free as it is the same specs running for Wii U.

Nintendo Switch Release Date, Schedule, Price: With the details discovered above, the new gadget will not need a stepdown transformer or an adapter for usage. It is playable anywhere even if the unit is bought in US. Pretty much, it is similar to its contemporaries - PS4, PS4 Pro and Xbox One S.

The Nintendo Switch is also expected to sport Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11ac MIMO and support for 2.4 GHz and 5GHz Wifi. The device is confirmed to be up and running at temperatures of 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. All of these can be had for an estimated price of $250 to $300.
