"The Walking Dead Season 7" mid-season finale was not a cliff-hanger and gave fans indications of thing to come. It looks like Rick, and the company will be joining forces to retaliate against Negan. The show's return date was recently announced, and fans seem unable to wait. "The Walking Dead Season 7" was all about side stories and establishing Negan's authority. Fans saw Rick and Daryl in conditions that they would not have expected and as a result show's rating did take a hit.

Showrunner Scott Gimple, in an interview with Comicbook.com, stated that the second half of The Walking Dead Season 7 would be completely different from the first half. As reported by Denofgeek, he said,

"I will say 7B's vibe is very different from 7A's vibe. The ending of 7B is very different than the beginning of 7A."

"The Walking Dead" fans are excited after hearing this news and are expecting some turn-around when the show returns. "The Walking Dead Season 7" part B will see more of King Ezekiel. He has in the past stated that he wants peace but he will be introduced to Rick and a new collaboration will be formed. Fans can also expect Dwight to turn against Negan.

It is evident why he hates Negan and serving him as he lacks options. In Season 7 part B, he will feed information to Rick and company to take down Negan, as reported by Comicbook.com

When "The Walking Dead Season 7" returns, Rick's Alexandria, Ezekiel's Kingdom, and Hilltop will take the war to Negan's doorstep. A spoiler indicates that Gregory will betray the cause and warn Negan about the impending attack. For the fans who hated every moment of David, he will be most likely killed in the second half of "The Walking Dead."

"The Walking Dead Season 7" return date has been announced, and the midseason premiere is on February 12, 2017.
