Fans are eagerly waiting for Nokia's Android fans and its return to the smartphone world. Rumors suggest that the former smartphone giant would bring in at least two new Android phones at the Mobile World Conference 2017. Leaks also suggested that the company is focusing on coming up with budget flagship devices for the mid-range customer market. Recently leaked live images and a few concept diagrams suggest that Nokia is working on at least two such smartphones.

Nokia E1 Mid-Range Model Image Leak

A Nokia model named E1 was the first of the lot that was leaked. It could be the mid-range D1C variant that most fans are talking about recently. This Nokia Android phone seems to be E1 and not D1C as it was rumored earlier.

Nokia E1 Expected Specs

The Nokia E1 is expected to come with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box. This alleged budget flagship model will be powered by Snapdragon processor in the 600 series with a 4GB RAM. Nokia's Android phone will offer a basic internal storage of 64GB. The leak also revealed one high-end smartphone with a standard fingerprint scanner placed on the home button, as reported by India Today.

Release Date

The second set of leaked images shows the front side of the alleged mid-range phone. It suggests that the device will have a 5.2-inch display as reported by NDTV gadgets. The device is expected to hit the market as early as February 2017. Also, Nokia may launch the D1C smartphone at the CES event in January 2017. The D1C flagship model is expected to sport a 6GB RAM and a 23MP Primary Camera, powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC processor. However, there has been no official statement yet from Nokia or HMD yet.
