An "Ocean's Eleven" reboot known as "Ocean's Eight" is confirmed to be in the works and, with it, fans can expect something quite diverse from the hit franchise. It was said that it will no longer have the same cast as before, but the new stars are definitely no push-overs. "Ocean's Eight" will be comprised of all females, led by the sister of the original heist master, Danny Ocean.

According to their official IMDB profile, the up and coming "Ocean's Eight" will star Sandra Bullock as Ocean's sister, to lead the aforementioned group. The other stars reportedly include Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham-Carter, Anne Hathaway and singer Rihanna to start off. Others include Dakota Fanning, Matt Damon, Sara Paulson and Damian Lewis.

Recently, the uproar on having films with female leads have stirred through the community; with the recent entry being the "Ghostbusters" reboot. Another soon-to-rise film to back up the trend is DC's "Gotham City Sirens," made up of a return Margot Robbie and a cast yet to be named. Because of this, it is also expected that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will push something from their field, which is still quite unsure for the time being, as reported by Variety.

A particular plotline that Marvel could take on is a trio from the "X-Men" universe, which could be led by Storm. Based on a 2013 re-launched graphic novel, it will have Psylocke, Rogue, Shadowcat and Rachel Grey (the daughter of Cyclops and Jean Grey). Should this push through, it will be the first all-female group that Marvel will launch for its cinematic universe. Of course, this is all talk for now.

"Ocean's Eight" is scheduled for release on June 8, 2018 in the United States. No news on the plot has been given as of this writing.
