TENAA-certified Asus X00GD With Robust 4,850mAh Battery, Mammoth RAM Could Be Asus Zenfone 4 Max
Vinay PatelIt looks like Asus is currently hard at work on a new smartphone dubbed, Asus X00GD, which has recently passed the TENAA certification. Let's take a look at all the specifications and features of the upcoming device.
Asus X00GD made an appearance on GFX benchmark recently and now, the reported smartphone has cleared TENAA certification. But that's not all.
A slew of images for Asus X00GD seem to have surfaced online. The specs and features of the impending smartphone that have been running rampant all over the internet suggest that the X00GD bears a striking resemblance to the Asus ZenFone 4.
Asus' new smartphone, bearing the codename Asus X00GD sports an HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. Also, it will be fired up by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MT6750 processor, coupled with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of Internal storage which can further be expanded up to 32GB, according to TENAA, via GSM Arena.
In addition, the Asus X00GD packs a robust battery of 4850mAh. The 5.2-inch device measures about 0.35 inches thick and weighs in at about 6 ounces.
The X00GD is the Taiwanese tech firm's first smartphone that runs on Google's latest mobile OS (operating system), Android Nougat. Furthermore, it sports a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP front snapper. It will also include a home button-embedded fingerprint sensor.
The Asus X00GD is likely to emerge as a tough competitor to the other smartphones in the market including the Xiaomi's Mi Max. Citing its mammoth battery amount, there is a possibility that the purported handset is Asus Zenfone 4 Max.
Interestingly, Asus has neither confirmed nor denied this possibility yet. Whether or not the stated device turns out to be the Zenfone 4 Max remains to be seen. In terms of color options, the Asus X00GD will be up for grabs in black, rose gold and luxury gold, TechGrapple reported.
New details about the Asus X00GD's specs and features are likely to surface online in near future. So, stay tuned in here for more updates.
