'Samsung Quantum Dot 4K TV' Review [CES 2017]: Advanced QLED Display With The Best Wall-Mount System Ever!
uBmuseTech related to entertainment gadgets is refreshing almost every week, revealing more and more advanced features every time. The LED TVs were replaced by the OLED TVs earlier and now it seems like the era of OLED TV will be gone in the next couple of months. With the announcement of the "Samsung Quantum Dot 4K TV" at the CES 2017, the tech giant has also marked an end to LG's OLED reign over the 4K TV market. Samsung's latest 4K TV features the more advanced QLED Display, which is coming in front of tech fanatics for the first time.
While there are not that difference in the current premium generation non-OLED 4K TVs, the difference in the features of the new OLED 4k sets is what makes them stand off the edge. Now, with the launch of the "Samsung Quantum Dot 4K TV", the difference will definitely be enormous. The new 4K TV will offer a much better brightness and colour configurations, along with some major improvements over the tech giant's high-end SUHD lineup.
The "Samsung Quantum Dot 4K TV" will reportedly be available in three sets, including the Q7, Q8, and Q9 sets. At the centre of all these 4K TVs is a well-refined Quantum Dot metal material. Users who have had a lot of viewing experience on 4K TVs may have noticed that as they pump up the brightness, the colour accuracy seems to go down a bit. Now, with the new QLED Display, Samsung claims that the 4K TVs will show the full-color configuration, no matter what the brightness level is.
Samsung also stated earlier that the latest "Samsung Quantum Dot 4K TV" sets are able to display as much as 99 percent of the current DCI-P3 colour space. This enables the QLED Sets to show off full-color volume independent of the brightness level been set up at a particular time. Recent reports state that the QLED Display sets have a peak luminance somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 nits. This is a vast leap as compared to the last year's SUHD models, which could only give out a maximum peak luminance of 1,000 nits.
Other than the obvious screen improvements, "Samsung Quantum Dot 4K TV" also features some of the more required physical upgrades. The new QLED Display sets are based on the latest "Invisible Connection" fiber optic cable. This feature enables the 4K TV sets to connect to a breakout box so as to get inputs. The power cables are pretty thin and combining with the earlier feature, the user will be able to hang them on the walls with negligible visual clutter.
The Tech giant has also developed new "no-gap wall mount" for the QLED Display sets so that the User won't have to face any hardware related problem while installing the 4K TVs on the wall. Stay tuned to Mobile&Apps for more news and updates on "Samsung Quantum Dot 4K TVs."
