It has already been confirmed that LG will be unveiling a line of audio products at this year's Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show. These devices will feature new technologies that will also complement LG's latest high-end TVs.

"LG's exciting 2017 audio lineup features powerful sound capabilities and sophisticated designs for all consumers," revealed Brian Kwon, CEO and President of LG's Home Entertainment Company.

One of these audio devices will be the SJ9 sound bar. As confirmed on the LG Newsroom, this speaker will come equipped with Dolby Atmos technology that will provide its user with a cinema-like audio experience.

The SJ9 is the first Dolby Atmos-enabled speaker from LG, but Samsung and Yamaha share the spot in the sound bar market. Samsung has the HW-K950, while Yamaha has the YSP-5600.

To date, the exact specs that the SJ9 boasts have not been confirmed yet. However, Ars Technica UK has reported that its setup is pretty similar to that of Samsung. Both of them feature upwards-firing drivers that have two smaller surround speakers and a separate subwoofer.
