The Release Date For The 'Injustice 2" Is Finally Revealed

Finally the "Injustice" sequel has a release date! Ed Boon, the creative director of NetherRealm Studios has unveiled the release date for the "Injustice 2" featuring the wide range of heroes and villain based on the DC Comics characters. Boon tweeted, this morning a minimalist design of the date that was i2.05.16.17 which stands for May 16, 2017.

The players will now be able to customize on how their favorite DC Comic character will look like, how they fight and how they will develop across a variety of game. It is still unclear whether the "Injustice 2" game will be running on the latest version of the Unreal Engine which can visually stand up to any current fighter according to WWG.

"The Injustice 2" is a continuation of the plot in the "Injustice: Gods Among Us" where Batman and his team will work together and fixing the society where it was before at the same time they try to recreate Superman's administration. Earth will be at risk as new threats will surface in the midpoint of the chaos created

The "Injustice 2" players will be able to choose a variety of characters for the DC Comic including the major characters like Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman and villains like Atrocitus, the Gorilla Grodd and Harley Quinn. Cosmic Comic Book reported that some battle scenes happen in well recognized places in the comic book series like Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis.

Right before Christmas the fans who are anticipating for the "Injustice 2" were given a sneak preview of Superman's cousin and fellow Kryptonian, Kara-Zor -El or as well-known as Supergirl. The fans were able to see Supergirl sporting a short hair in the latest footage where it shows her combat skills as well as her combos and finishers in the game including her powerful heat vision and ice breath.
