Three Important Accessories For Google Pixel Or Pixel XL Owners

Three Important Accessories For Google Pixel Or Pixel XL Owners

Arianne Gift

Google's first smartphone has received some of the best reviews a gadget could ever have. According to the search giant itself, Pixel has logged the highest camera rating "ever," as its battery lasts all day and the unit offers unlimited storage for photos and videos.

Whether one owns a Google Pixel or a Pixel XL, it is imperative to expand these phones features, and one way to do that is by investing on some accessories. Here are some that have caught the market's eye recently.

Anker PowerLine USB-C to USB-C Cable

Unlike most USB-C phones, Google's smartphones does not have a USB-A to USB-C cable -- the Pixel's boxed charger is a USB-C brick. This means that a USB-C to USB-C cable is needed. Given these cables are quite rare, it is important to purchase some spares. Anker's C to C cable is relatively cheap and is available in white or black to match your Pixel or Pixel XL.

Google Live Cases

Sure, Google's traditional silicone cases might be the first option, but a little extra will get you a Live Case. Live Cases share similar materials as the traditional cases, but what's cool about it is that it is customizable. A Pixel or a Pixel XL phone will look its best by adding a little artwork in it. There is also a tool on the Google Store in which the Live Case can be personalized.

Daydream View

In Russell Holly's review via the Android Central, he called the Daydream View "the best mobile VR headset you can buy." It requires a hefty sum, which could be the reason one would easily avoid it, but Google's own VR headset and its integration to the Pixel and Pixel XL will maximize these phones' features. Daydream's apps and games don't have the most impressive numbers but there is a huge potential it will get better quickly.
