A 2X Star Bonus to the "Clash of Clans" game is now being offered with the title's new event. Players can expect a heavy troop discount on Golems for the weekend once it ends.

Players can see in their "Clash of Clans" mobile events tab the currently happening Star Bonus event and it awards two times the Treasury money for victories in multiplayer battles. The promotion would likely carry through Friday given the last week's span of events. An undetermined Golem event is schedule as soon as Saturday rolls around.

Previous troop-based events give players a solid idea of what to expect despite its unknown full details as of yet. Take for example, the Dragon training cost which was discounted considerably together with a themed challenge which happened last week.

With just using no less than four Dragons in three multiplayer battles, its players seized of 30 gems and 300 worth of experience. It is expected that the same thing would happen with this new event.

Apparently, there are no available tips or strategies that players can get much of today's promotion. But note that they should just have a mindset of winning as many times as possible given that Star Bonuses are tied to one's league.

It means that those in the highest leagues would eventually have the most to earn. Moreover, a loot bonus is only as good as how it's managed and more importantly, the aftermath of it. Players should reportedly keep building up their army with their stored Elixir from last week and build new defenses to continue on progressing.

There are tons of Golem strategies to consider, such as the Inferno Towers which can be a Golem's worst nightmare. So, it is suggested that constructing those with the player's Star Bonus money would be a good investment for the following days.

Events that were added in the "Clash of Clans" December update have been going down well with the game's community. They encourage the use of ignored troops and offer an indirect adjustment to the gameplay loop to keep matches feeling brand-new.
