There have been a slew of alleged features and design of Samsung Galaxy S8 that are making rounds from various reported leaks.  Apparently, it has noticeable similarities with some of Apple's latest offerings. Recently, Galaxy S8 will possibly come with a pressure sensitive display which is also present with Apple's 3D Touch. Now, according to reports, Galaxy S8 will have two variants.

The new Samsung Galaxy S8 series handsets will allegedly come in two display sizes, 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch, the latter will be called the Galaxy S8 Plus, rather than their usual "Edge" name for the plus size. Moreover, another feature that is highly expected for the iPhone 8 will be allegedly integrated with Samsung's flagship which is the absence of the home button.

According to Android Soul, Korean media reported that Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus prototypes have been made. It added that the said units have been sent to the Vice Chairman and SEO for evaluation and approval.

Since the tech for the camera is too expensive to feature it in the base model, the Galaxy S8 has only a single rear camera setup. However, for the larger Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus variant, it has the dual rear camera setup which is a first in the Samsung smartphone range but is similar to the new iPhones.

In Samsung's rush to overrule Apple, they released Galaxy Note 7 sooner than its usual release cycle which perhaps resulted to the biggest nightmare they had with the exploding battery dilemma, Gadgets NDTV reported.

Apparently, the company has set a goal of shipping 60 million Galaxy S8 units in 2017. It is much higher than the shipments for the past three years. Other than from the aforementioned features,

Also, Samsung will apparently get rid of the headphone jack from the Galaxy S8. This again, resembles the recent iPhone models. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will allegedly not debut at MW and will instead be launched sometime in mid-April.
