Nintendo Switch displayed an impressive array of exclusive games -- a promise that there will be an exhilarating experience for those who will indulge in the newest console. The likes of "Mario Odyssey," "Mario Kart 8" and "The Legend of Zelda" are enthralling.

Now, here is an interesting observation after Nintendo Switch unveiled its lineup. Switch is offering far better exclusive games compared to Xbox One -- at least for 2017. In fact, the disparity has placed Xbox at a disadvantage, while Nintendo Switch is hauling praises everywhere.

Looking deeper into the array of titles from both wards, Nintendo Switch taunts 12 exclusive titles while Xbox One has nine, TechRadar said. Of the latter, only "Sea of Thieves" and "Halo Wars 2" look promising. On the contrary, Nintendo Switch has all the bombshells from Mario to Zelda and Street Fighter.

ThisGenGaming observed that there was a headstart for Xbox One, but it failed to capitalize against Nintendo Switch. In fact, Xbox One has been here for the last three years already while Nintendo Switch hasn't even been released yet.

To judge the quality of games is still premature but it appears that Nintendo Switch has the upper hand in 2017. Yes, even the good old "Super Mario Odyssey" is said to be inching into a hardcore-game niche. Just add "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" into the equation and Xbox One is clearly being left out.

Observers also suspect that the best hope for Xbox One could be "Sea of Thieves," but the future seems bleak, as well. "Sea of Thieves" appears promising but there is a high chance of a delay and it might not even be released this year. Then, again, for the plain contrast, Nintendo Switch has majority of its games confirmed.

At any rate, Xbox One will likely still try to steal the show without much effort on setting up exclusive games. After all, there is this thing called "backwards compatibility," which can bring back those old games into newer consoles.
