"Attack on Titan" fans have been waiting for over a year for more news regarding its Season 2. Finally, it has been confirmed that the anime series will be back in April.

A couple of months before the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date, Funimation - in partnership with Kodansha Comics - launched a re-cut trailer that was exclusively shown to Japanese fans. The video, which was posted on Twitter, showed the same scenes that were featured in the previous trailer, but with a couple of additions.

As reported by Comic Book, there were two new scenes that were not included in the first trailer that was revealed to the waiting public. One scene featured Mikasa Ackerman, while the second one involves a horde of fast-moving Titans.

In the scene, both Mikasa and Eren Yaeger were both wearing white. It was clear that the latter had bandages wrapped all over his forehead - which are pretty much the same injuries he had nearing the end of the first season. This confirms that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will pick up right where the previous season left off. The other scene showed three Titans making their way through the forest at such an alarming speed.

"Attack on Titan" has been commended for its gritty story arcs. Each single episode is injected with intense action that portrayed how the Titans have nearly wiped out humanity. In addition to having to fight the blood-thirsty monsters, the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 protagonists will also have to watch their backs after discovering that there were also long-held Government conspiracies involved.

The first season of the animated show might have already wrapped a couple of years ago, but it has managed to retain its top status as an international hit. It had 25 episodes and can be watched on the Internet through Hulu.
