Music fans have been eagerly waiting to know details about Lorde's new album. But, unfortunately, Lorde hasn't yet revealed anything about the album. However, recently, the 20-year-old singer teased that work on the upcoming new album is going on.

"Now I'm back to work in the states finishing this record," Lorde said, reported Stuff.

Back in November last year, the singer posted a picture of headphones with the caption-"listen to the record on these every day. wanna hear it exactly how you will."

The tweet was enough for fans to speculate that Lorde might release her new album soon. The New Zealand musician recently announced her first full performance in three years at Coachella Festival in April 2017. The California set music festival will mark the singer-songwriter's first live performance in three years. Rumors are that Lorde might reveal about her highly anticipated second album at the music festival. Notably, the singer will also be performing at the star studded Bonnaroo music and arts festival and Governors Ball in New York this June.

Lorde's first album "Pure Heroine," which was released in September 2013, was a massive hit. Her hit single "Royals" sold over a whopping million copies. In related news, the singer announced over Instagram that her godson was born last month.

"Four weeks ago, I was lucky enough to witness the delivery of my beautiful best friend's baby boy," she noted. "We've been friends for 10 years - I can't really describe to you how emotional and life-changing it was to be part of this with her. Had my last cuddle yesterday, and now I'm back to work in the states finishing this record, but I thought you might like to meet my perfect godson, Oscar Robin."
