'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Director Mac Walters Discusses The Possibility Of An Xbox Scorpio Version Of The Game
JPBioware's "Mass Effect: Andromeda" may be considered as the one of the most hyped video game title this 2017. Bioware's Mike Gamble has reportedly refuted the rumors and speculations that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have a support for the newly launched Nintendo Switch and the yet to be released Xbox Scorpio.
According to Gamble, no plans, at the moment, have been conceived to launch "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for Nintendo Switch. However, Gamble did not entirely reject the chances that the game may be launched for the Nintendo hybrid game console in the future. It can be remembered that "Mass Effect 3" was released for the Nintendo Wii giving hopes to video game fans that the new "Mass Effect" video game may also be launched in another Nintendo game console.
Another rumor that was refuted by Gamble is the availability of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for the yet be released Xbox Scorpio. Just like in Nintendo Switch, Gamble stated that their team at Bioware has no plans yet to launch the upcoming video game for Xbox Scorpio.
However, a recent interview "Mass Effect: Andromeda" director, Mac Walters, has revealed that there is a possibility that the upcoming video game may be released for Xbox Scorpio. According to Walters, the primary obstacle of having an Xbox Scorpio "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is the game's release date.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" release date has already been set on March. Having this target release date will make it impossible for the game developers to immediately launch an Xbox Scorpio version, especially since the new console has not yet been released. Walters, however, discussed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" may soon support the Xbox Scorpio if the company will launch a special edition of the video game.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be available for PC, Xbox One and Ps4 once it is released on March 21. The game will also have an enhanced Ps4 pro version.
