The next update for "Pokemon Go" could make modifications on the evolution of some Pokemon according to data mining efforts of a team who discovered that Niantic has added code for a number of new evolutionary items. These can be used in the evolution of particular Pokemon into stronger forms.

Dataminers from The Silph Road have discovered five evolutionary items and these are all being used to evolve Gen 1 Pokemon into Gen 2 Pokemon that are not yet featured in "Pokemon Go." With the addition of the evolutionary items - the Metal Coat, Upgrade, Sun Stone, Dragon Scale and King's Rock; it should resolve concerns on how the game would work with the new divergent evolutionary lines.

Most "Pokemon Go" players have presumed that the game will choose evolutions in random just like how Eevee's evolution acts within the game. Moreover, the evolutionary items discovered by the dataminers includes Metal Coat, which is used for Onix's evolution into Steelix and Scyther into Scizor, Upgrade that is used for Porygon's evolution into Porygon2, Sun Stone to use for the evolution of Gloom and Bellossom, Dragon Scale for the evolution of Seadra into Kingdra and King's Rock to use for the evolution of Poliwhirl into Politoed and Slowpoke into Slowking.

These revolutionary items are now in the code of "Pokemon Go" but players should not expect them in the next update, according to WWG. This is because there are no graphics that are related to the items just yet, which means that there are still things that need to be settled before they are released into the wild.

Additionally, the dataminers have also found out programming date that nearly 40 new moves are added to the game such as Powder Snow, Counter among others as part Quick Moves and Close Combat, Wild Charge and more as part of Charge Moves. These new moves are said to be more useful in gym fights with Fighting and Steel Pokemon.

The new update for "Pokemon Go" is expected to go live this week. Stay tuned.
