Nintendo Switch Latest News & Updates: Joy-Con Controllers To Cost $29.99
Shena GolosinoThe Nintendo Switch is reported to come with a set of Joy-Con controllers with a grip attachment. But, it is to be noted that the Joy-Con charging grip is not included in the bundle. The Joy-Con charging grip is made up of a translucent shell which is similar to the Switch Pro Controller. It has USB Type C port on the top for battery charging.
The Verge reported that Nintendo will sell the Joy-Con charging grip separately. The Nintendo Switch bundle will have a grip but will only be made of a plastic shell that will allow the Joy-Con controllers to be held in a traditional form.
The controllers will reportedly work for around 20 hours on a single charge. Nintendo stated that the Joy-Con controllers take about three and a half hours to recharge whether it is plugged-in, docked on a Switch unit or using the charging grip.
In other news, the Nintendo Switch games list has been expanded and here are some of the games listed by Express that will be released on March 3: "1-2-Switch," "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," "Skylanders Imaginators," "Just Dance 2017," "Super Bomberman R" and "NBA 2K18."
Here are some of the other games that will be released for Nintendo Switch sometime later this year: "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," "Arms," "Splatoon 2," "LEGO City Undercover," "Sonic Mania," "Has Been Heroes," "Sinpperclips: Cut it Out, Together!," "Fast RMX," "I am Setsuna," "Puyo Puyo Tetris," "Disgaea 5 Complete," "Redout," "The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+," "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," "Super Mario Odyssey," "Fire Emblem Warriors," "Minecraft Nintendo Switch," "Minecraft Story Mode," "Xenoblade Chronicles 2," "Ultra Street Fighter 2," "Dragon Quest Heroes 1&2," "Dragon Quest X," "Dragon Quest IX," "FIFA 2017," "Steep," "Rayman Legends," "Shin Megami Tensei," "Dragonball Xenoverse 2," "Shovel Knight," "Syberia 3," "Project Sonic," "Project Octopath Traveller" and more.
The Joy-Con charging grip will be available for $29.99 when it gets launched with the Nintendo Switch on March 3, 2017.
