New set of characters is about to come to "Injustice 2." The trailer, "Lines Are Redrawn" shows a continuation of the previous game's story with Brainiac and others joining the fight. Recently, there has been a revelation of the upcoming special editions for the game.

IGN reports that there will be three versions of the game that gamers can soon avail. Special Edition like Standard ($60), Digital Deluxe ($80), and Ultimate ($100). Different versions includes different pricing and offerings.

The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with three DLC fighters as well as one premier skin that gamers can transform Supergirl into Power Girl. Power Girl has a new look, voice, and dialogue. The Deluxe Edition also comes with a single gear sharder pack - Defender.

Meanwhile, the Ultimate Edition includes nine DLC characters, three premier skins for Supergirl, Flash, and Green Lantern. The Ultimate Edition also comes with two gear shader packs - Defender and Destroyer.

The premier skins of the Supergirl will turn the character into Power Girl, Flash to be the Reverse Flash, and Green Lantern will be John Stewart's Green Lantern. But, alternate voice and dialogue are on specified for the said characters.

However, there were no mention of who the extra characters are and no mention if there will be more. But all is still good as the villain, Darksied will be added to the roster. To get Darkseid, gamers must pre-order "Injustice 2" ahead of time.

Other characters include Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Supergirl, Atrocitus, Gorilla Grudd, Blue Beetle, and more. Other characters who were present in the previous game will be back such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman.

Euro Gamer reports that NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have an odd way to inflate the roster of characters of the game. But all is good as the game developers have always been generous in making DLCs and pre-order bonuses in the past.

The report further stated that everything will be bundled together in the Game of the Year Edition release for some point in 2018. "Injustice 2" will be released in May this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
