'Call Of Duty: Black Ops II' Xbox Backwards Compatibility May Soon Be Launched
JPAmong the most requested Xbox 360 video games that avid video game players want to be added in the Xbox backwards compatibility feature is "Call of Duty: Black Ops II". In fact, the popular video game has already garnered more than 200,000 community votes in the Xbox Feedback site while "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" comes in far second with a little more than 170,000 votes.
Though Xbox fans clearly want to see "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" in the Xbox backwards compatibility project, the video game company seem to be a bit cold to that idea. Well, that is up until recently.
Xbox Phil Spencer has just hinted that through his twitter page that he himself would like to see "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" featured in their backwards compatibility program. Spencer even stated that his lack of response on "BO2" should not be taken to mean lack of caring.
As of this moment, the Xbox one backwards compatibility feature already includes a number of "Call of Duty" video game titles in it. The original Black Ops along with "Call of Duty 2", "CoD 3" and "CoD: World at War" Xbox 360 titles may already played in the Xbox one through the backwards compatibility program.
This month alone, Xbox has already ramped up the number of video games in its Xbox BC program by adding 10 more new titles. In fact, the number of the video games which is now featured in the Xbox BC program already exceeds 300.
With the recent pronouncement from Xbox's Spencer, "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" fans are given a glimmer of hope that the most requested Xbox 360 title may find its way to Xbox one. Though Xbox nor Spencer have not provided any other details about the plan yet, addressing the issue can already be considered a good start.
