'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Playable On Nintendo Switch Soon [VIDEO]; See First Leaked Images Of 'DBX2' Switch Version
Vinay PatelBandai Namco's lips are sealed regarding the looming release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 2 update; however, the game publisher still managed to sweep "DBX2" fans off their feet with a big announcement.
In the statement released by Bandai Namco, courtesy of Gamasutra source, players on Nintendo's Switch will have an opportunity to delve into epic adventures and battles of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in the Big N's newfangled console. Moreover, a co-op gameplay feature that would let players share their experiences with their friends is expected to come to fruition as well. But the game developer seems in no mood to divulge details about the official release date.
Much to the delight of avid "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" fans, Bandai Namco debuted a preview of the hit role-playing video game in the Nintendo Switch presentation. The game publisher posted the preview on its official Twitter account. Those who failed to catch a glimpse of Nintendo's highlight reel for its latest console, fret not! You can still take a gander at the footage posted with the tweet here.
Meanwhile, Nintendo has updated its listing for 'DBX2" on its official Japanese website (via ComicBook) giving the game's huge fanbase a peek at how the title will actually appear running on Nintendo's new console. No prizes for guessing, the game looks glorious as Switch seems to effortlessly handle that cel-shaded aesthetic. Notably, the official screenshots hint at unmodified character models that bear striking resemblance to their PS4 version.
It's worth noting that the draw distance and environmental details are likely to be downgraded. It also remains to be seen if the game still runs at 60 fps (frames per second); fans would certainly be hoping that it does. Apparently, playing "DBX2" at 30fps might just be the price players have to pay to get their hands on a portable version of the game.
Details about the official release date for the Switch edition of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" are few and far between at the moment. But stay tuned for more 'DBX2" updates and news.
