'Samurai Jack' Season 5 Latest Update: Air Date Announced!
RommelFans will be thrilled to find out that "Samurai Jack" season 5 will be launched on Cartoon Network this year! For those who have been patiently waiting for the said cartoon series to air again, the wait is finally over. Adult Swim had finally revealed that the show's new season will be coming sooner than everyone thought.
Adult Swim revealed that "Samurai Jack" will be back for its fifth season on March 11th, 11:30 PM. The show will retain its late-night nightly run for this season after playing special social media bump with their fans. They answered the question by saying: "March 11th, 11:30 pm is what's going on and when other fans asked about it again, they just said: "What did we just say?"
They just confirmed on "Samurai Jack" season 5 and fans are wondering if they will have to wait a little longer. The show was added back to the Adult Swim's roster in a marathon fashion. Last January 14, they re-aired it and fans were happy to see it come back on TV. The series is being shown at Adult Swim's "Toonami" after fans got hyped when the network announced the show's development.
The first installment of the show ran from 2001 to 2004 feature a samurai prince who had to travel through time to battle the demon, Aku. After following Aku through time, he got his name Jack as he went back in a dystopian version of the Earth to punish Aku to death and unleash the universe from his evil ways. Some "Samurai Jack" characters will return for the 10-episode season with Phil LaMarr voicing the title character of the show.
