Publisher of 'Terraria' & 'Payday 2' Announces New Turn-Based Strategy Game 'Quarantine'

Switchy Sam

Zombie infection-themed games stir so many exciting moments, especially during thrilling times of hunting and chasing the zombies. On the other hand, these zombies might do the opposite and chase you instead. 505 Games, the publisher of "Terraria" and "Payday 2," announced another turn-based strategy game that will test a player's decision-making skills and analytical skills. This game is much like "Plague Inc. Evolved" and "Pandemic: The Video Game." The title suits the overall story and theme of the game, which is "Quarantine." For another PC game, the publishers and developers already have a Steam early access for those who want to try the game. Based on PCGamer, the cost of the early access is $14.99. The game is due on February 9.

Different skillsets with different people

As 505 Games stated, "A new pathogen has arrived and every turn counts." "Our survival rests in each player's hands." As mentioned also in PCGamesN, players will choose among classes and each one has different skills that will contribute to the progress in the game. These are Medics, Security, Diplomats, and Scientists. By increasing their levels and leveling up their skillsets, the field of mission will not be limited to one but will reach to other places of the world. In short, the bases will be established to slowly cure the ones infected. "Quarantine" will be a race against every turn.

Furthermore, the players in "Quarantine" are the director of the international biosecurity agency. They will control the infection and find solutions to such problem. Of course, the deadly pathogen will seek new hosts and every turn is crucial between success and failure. Moreover, the game will have different sets of difficulties and flexibility, which makes it a flexible game this year. The trailer from YouTube is below:
