'Dragon Ball Super' Universal Survival Arc Sees Cabba & First Female Saiyan, Is She Broly Or Just A Woman Doppelganger?
Caitlin Moore"Dragon Ball Super" is seemingly packed with exciting surprises with the arrival of the "Universal Survival" arc. Slated to begin on February, the new arc is said to see the return of some familiar Saiyans, including Cabba. Also, an interesting speculation also surfaced regarding a female Saiyan who will make an appearance in the upcoming episodes of the well-celebrated anime series.
As reported by Comicbook, Saiyan Cabba is the first hero to get a highlight in the forthcoming arc. In the trailer, he is seen transforming into a Super Saiyan in white and purple plate armor. The Universe 6 hero already made an appearance on "Dragon Ball Super" "Future Trunks" arc so fans are surely familiar with his skills.
However, the report claimed that Cabba is returning with improved skills that viewers would need to see. He is expected to possess new powers and interestingly, Hit will join his side in the upcoming tournament too. Apart from Cabba and Hit, fans will also see a female Saiyan who is making a debut in the hit anime.
It is important to note that it is the first time that a female Saiyan will appear in the "Dragon Ball" anime and manga according to Kotaku. As per reports, the female character is just a version of Broly. The trailer showed the female hero transforming into Saiyan but it is not clear yet whether she is really Broly in a different form.
The report by Kotaku also detailed a theory from a YouTuber, which suggested that the female Saiyan might be Broly's counterpart from a different Universe. This could be a possibility given that the new arc will actually introduce several faces from each Universes. That said, it is possible that the woman is a doppelganger of Broly in opposite gender from another Universe.
