Nintendo Puts Everyone's Favorite Pokemon Pikachu In 'Pikachu Yellow Edition' Model For 'Nintendo 3DS XL'

Switchy Sam

Pokemon games and characters are deeply embedded in the hearts of players and fans. The game reached more than a million downloads because of its enticing gameplay. Aside from battling other trainers and gaining strength in numerous battles, Pokemon trainers also raise berries on the field for their Pokemon. Talking about Pokemon, the famous mascot of the Pokemon industry is Pikachu. Nintendo recently announced that their "Pikachu Yellow Edition" will be released on February 24 in North America for the price of $199.99, as mentioned in Gematsu. Some fans say that it is still painful for their pockets, but other diehard fans will definitely save up and ignore the large price.

The design and overall feature

Much like other Nintendo 3DS XL models, this one is the same but with a different look. Rather than buying the mono-colored ones, gamers and players can buy "Pikachu Yellow Edition" instead for a change. The main color of the model is yellow, which in line with Pikachu's skin color, as well as brown. The yellow color serves as a canvass and the brown color forms the image of Pikachu in the center of the upper screen. On another post from NintendoLife, there hasn't been any word about the release of the product in Europe yet. So fans living in Europe may have to wait a little more for it to be released in their country.

Some fans are discouraged, they prefer latest releases instead

Overall, "Pikachu Yellow Edition" is a decent one and those who will get it will be satisfied. There is also a Princess Peach version of Nintendo 3DS XL available. Although, with this one reaching a higher price and Nintendo Switch being released, fans prefer better equipment, which is the Nintendo Switch.
