When it comes to choosing between the Apple iPhone 7 and Google Pixel, many are still in a dilemma. Their variants Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel XL are amazing phones but taking a decision to shift from iOS to Android and vice versa is a big decision. Hence, understanding the areas, where the Google Pixel and Pixel XL perform better than the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is important. The two handsets sport incredible cameras but photography enthusiasts believe the Pixels have a slightly better camera.

According to GSMArena, The Google Pixel and Pixel XL cameras may not have an optical image stabilizing module but Google has done an amazing job in software algorithms to make up for that. Moreover, the HDR+ mode is incredible at keeping exposures balanced and producing color-perfect photos. Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus cameras are almost at par and perform better in some specific areas. Both Google Pixel XL and iPhone 7 Plus have 5.5-inch screens but the Google phone offers higher screen-to-body ratio.

The Pixel XL wins in terms of weight and ease of handling the device. Moreover, the Apple iPhone 7 Plus has no 3.5mm headphone jack. Many consider this step revolutionary but this jack also connects to a number of accessories such as portable speaker, car audio etc. The Pixel XL has the 3.5mm jack and hence is more compatible with accessories.

The lack of port in an iPhone is a big problem. When it comes to photo and video storage, Google Pixel XL users are at an advantage as Google offers unlimited storage at original quality and size for free in Pixels.

Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users get 5 GB of iCloud for free. Anything beyond that requires money. Another area where Google has surpassed Google is in personal virtual assistant. Google Assistant is frighteningly smart and accurate. With time, the AI even learns about users for a more personal experience.
