An image from a Facebook staff party showing Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg as well as several other males, topless, has surfaced online, accidentally posted to Facebook for public display.
While the image was deleted shortly after being posted, it was too late to save it from being scooped up and entering the public domain for all to see, via photo-sharing site imgur. It was initially posted by Andrew Bosworth, Facebook's director of engineering, who's also shown in the image, topless as well, and sporting a stylish bow-tie around his neck.
Even more interesting is the woman in the background who appears to be groping another shirtless reveler whose sex cannot be determined, as only their hair (which looks decidedly feminine, done up as it is in bun), can be seen.
The party was in celebration of the wedding of Facebook product manager Justin Schaffer to Annabel Teal, and took place at Lightning Tree Farm in New York on August 4th according to Teal's own Facebook page, according to Gawker.
Another picture revealed from the same party shows more topless men outside, one of them mugging for the camera, while two in the background are clasping hands high in the air in some sort of strange celebratory depiction, or topless wrestling match (and there's a decided lack of chocolate sauce, honey, or other delectable topless wrestling sauces if the latter).
For his part, the hairy-chested Zuckerberg looks to be in fine form and physically fit, which could be from the influence of his wife, or the fact that you need to stay physically fit when you may be removing your shirt for all to see at any moment.
No word yet on why the males of Facebook decided to strip their shirts. What do you think prompted it (aside from the obvious answer that their shirts were all burned off due to global warming)? And is it time for the Facebook gang to grow up and leave their College toga parties behind? Leave us your thoughts or best wedding after party stories below.
