Winona Ryder generated mixed feedback from viewers after "Stranger Things" won the SAG Awards for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series. The situation specifically points to the time David Harbour was delivering his acceptance speech and Ryder was seen making different expressions, ranging from confusion to joy. What really happened that time?

A "Stranger Things" kid and Winona Ryder's co-star gave light to what happened. Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson on the series, said that Ryder did those expressions because she cannot hear Harbour.

"I think it's just because she couldn't hear what David was saying," Matarazzo said, according to TMZ. "I think we were all just so happy to be with each other, it was just a great time." He then went on to say that his co-star's expressions were "awesome." Due to her extreme expressions, lots of GIFs and memes naturally came out.

The cast of "Stranger Things" was extremely and visibly happy with the award. They were up against the cast of "The Crown," "Downtown Abbey," "Game of Thrones" and "Westworld."

Winona Ryder starrd in the series as Joyce Byers, the mother of Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) who got lost and was ultimately rescued from the Upside Down. Her role earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for Television Series Drama.

On the other hand, David Harbour, who played Jim Hopper on "Stranger Things" was also commended for his rousing speech. The actor talked to his fellow artists to create a more "empathic and understanding society."  NY Daily News points out, he, along with a few others, also used the stage to talk about President Donald Trump.

"Stranger Things" will be back in the summer for its second season on Netflix, plus two new actors. The story will still be set in Hawkins, Indiana, a year after the events from season 1.
