iOS 10.2.1 Update: Apple Users Complain More Than Impressed As New Issues Found On iPod, iPad And iPhone [VIDEO]
Pia MerciApple's newly released iOS 10.2.1 update has been receiving more complaints than remarkable comments about its latest software upgrade. Important security fixes are reportedly in the iOS 10.2.1.
However, it has disregarded some bugs while some other problems remain unresolved. Also, what's worse is that there have emerged new issues that are prevalent in the iPod, iPad and iPhone devices.
Among the most common issues that users have reported regarding their upgrade to iOS 10.2.1 is about the Apple Touch ID. After the said upgrade, the fingerprint sensor in their mobile phones has seemingly stopped functioning.
Additionally, this is also apparently prevalent among iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Another major issue that Apple device users are encountering is that the brightness level suddenly falls when the battery percentage reaches a certain level.
According to Forbes, when the battery is at 74%, it suddenly drops to 70%. When the phone's battery decreases even further to 49%, the brightness reportedly drops to 50%.
While this change is a bit alarming, Apple reportedly intended to roll out this update to fix the 30% bug issue. Unfortunately, a lot of Apple users extremely dislike the auto brightness feature.
Although the new update has brought some fixes, it reportedly brought bigger problems as well. There were several complaints about the battery drain and Bluetooth compatibility.
Furthermore, some users have also noticed that the update seemingly affected the reliability and performance of their Wi-Fi connection while other users observed improvements in their devices as soon as they have downgraded to iOS 10.2. In spite of all these lapses, there are important security fixes in the update useful for Apple owners.
As of now, Apple has been working on the iOS 10.3 and apparently, its new operating software is in beta testing. Many users are in high hopes that Apple can roll out this update four to six weeks from now and that supposedly, it will fix the problems brought by the iOS 10.2.1.
