Nintendo Finally Ends Wii U Production Globally: Saying Goodbye To The Nintendo Wii U Consoles
Switchy SamNintendo Of America has announced that it has finally stopped "Nintendo Wii U" production globally. As sad as the news may get, Nintendo stopped the production for a better reason. Ever since the highly anticipated "Nintendo Switch" was announced, gamers started making plans to buy the console. This means that once the next gen Nintendo gaming console is out, there will be no room for the older consoles.
The company has also halted production of the "Wii U Splatoon Set." In November last year, Gematsu reported that the production would come to end soon. The announcement can also be seen on the Nintendo Japan's official website.
A Nintendo spokesperson has also confirmed that the production for the console has ended globally and also stated that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be the last game for the Wii U. Notably, the end of Wii U production means that Nintendo will focus on Nintendo Switch productions.
Kotaku recently updated it's report about the halt of the "Nintendo Wii U" production. While, some fans are disappointed by the news, other think that the decision is a good one. Fans believe that the new era of "Nintendo Switch" will surely end the era of the old Nintendo consoles. However, it won't replace the memories connected with much loved gaming console.
Now, the focus is targeted on the "PlayStation Vita" that might end the same way as "Nintendo Wii U." Going back to the issue, fans will have no choice but to move on to the latest console to keep up with the games.
