'Final Fantasy XV' Moogle Chocobo Carnival Tips & Tricks: Prizes & How To Get Them

The Moogle Chocobo Carnival event of "Final Fantasy XV" is still garnering a lot of attention. It's almost a month-long celebration featuring the game's Moogles and Chocobos. There are carnival challenges, quests and even races involved. How does a player get through everything?

First, it should be noted that only players who have acquired the "Holiday Pack" DLC, whether the free or paid one, will only have access to the carnival. The pack that came out for "Final Fantasy XV" in December included a ticket for entry.

The Moogle Chocobo Carnival event does not meddle with a player's main quest. However, the progress on the event can overwrite a certain save point that is linked to the main story. For "Final Fantasy XV" players, always be careful when it comes to saving.

Now, there are certain quests during this event. One of these is the "Interrupted by Fireworks" quest. According to RPG Site, "FFXV" players are able to acquire a Dream Egg from this.

Basically, this quest will require the player to acquire 50 Choco-Mog medallions. These medallions are the prizes to various games and quests on the carnival. Once the quest is done and the medallions acquired, Noctis can then enjoy a fun fireworks show. After that, the Dream Egg will be given to Noctis.

"Final Fantasy XV" fans are not yet sure what the egg could do. However, it could prove to be useful in the future.

To complete the "Interrupted by Fireworks" quest, here are a few side quests that give out Choco-Mog medallions: The Brothers Kupomazov, All About Moogles, Decorations Decoded and Oedka de Chocochicks quests.

Fishing is big in "Final Fantasy XV" and Noctis' love for it will continue on to the event. There are three fishing spots in the event where Noctis can either obtain Choco-Mog medallions or special items. Low-ranking fishes give out the medallions while high-ranking ones can give special lures, rods and more.

The "Final Fantasy XV" Choco-Mog medallions are used to redeem various items. There are vendors around the place where Noctis can exchange certain numbers of medallions for various items. There are leisure items, consumable ones and rare and crafting materials, as well.

Regalia items available are prismatic gold and silver ore, gold and silver dust and gold and silver shard. Fishing items include fishing lines like Dragon's Beard, Super Baleen and Spider Silk. Some rare items would then include spiked armor, sky gemstone, earth gemstone and more.
