Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus Leak Shows Impressive Specs; Large Battery, Wi-Fi/4G LTE Variants & Snapdragon Processor Tipped
Ritwik RoyRecent Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus leaks have revealed the device to be pretty efficient with a more-than-generous battery. On the downside, the device will be running Android Marshmallow, instead of Android Nougat. While Lenovo has not revealed anything on the device's price and release date, it is expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2017 on Feb. 26, Barcelona, Spain. The Lenovo Tab3 8 leaks were first reported online in September 2016 but they hardly revealed the specs of the device.
According to Tech Times, a recent leak by Italian website Notebook Italia has shared what is reportedly official press renders of the upcoming Lenovo tablet. The tablet is close on getting listed on a benchmarking database and now has its specs leaked. The site has shown a preview of the tablet and has also provided information on technical data. Notebook Italia leak has revealed that the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus will come in two variants that will be unveiled at the MWC 2017 event.
The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus Wi-Fi-only model bears the model number TB-8703F and the 4G LTE model, mobile data supported, has the model number TB-8703X. Apart from connectivity differences, both the variants will be the same. The leaked render show a praiseworthy design for the tablet that is both thin and savvy. The leaks further reveal two color options, blue and silver. An IP52 certification would mean the tablet will be both water and dust proof. It will weight 0.70lbs and run on Android Marshmallow.
The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is expected to feature an 8-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) display and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It may sport a 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. An 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP secondary camera will be placed in the tab.
