LG G6 Leaked Photo Confirms Glossy Jet Black Body With Dual Camera, Rear Fingerprint Scanner & More; To Unveil at MWC 2017
Coco DollangangerA leaked photo of LG G6 that was provided to a site is now one of the most talked-about smartphones. The photo shows a real shiny black rear with two camera lenses with a flash and although it's unclear if this is already the real G6, given all the leaks and speculations, the photo could be genuine.
The LG G6 has a resemblance of LG V20, which sports the same dual-camera setup and the rear fingerprint sensor/home button although the G6 is going to be a unibody device and the G6's two camera sensors sit on either side of the LED flash, which is a little different from the V20. Its glossiness is similar to iPhone 7s glossy jet black and looks really sleek though, other leaked photos showed backs with different color but different texture.
The front of the LG G6 will have a narrow top and bottom bezels, which means that it can fit a 5.7-inch display into a body that is smaller or could be even smaller compared to the compact G5. According to Forbes, the G6 could be another effort that the LG has deliberated to give consumers what they like most - an Android device, which is more in line with Google's vision.
An example of this is that the Android geeks have been complaining about non-Nexus/Pixel Androids that receives slow software updates and the LG V20 turned out to be the first non-Google phone to render with the most recent Android software update. In the past year, LG has also significantly cleaned up its UI and the LG G6 is said to be the first non-Google phone to feature the Google Assistant.
The LG G6 will be revealed on Feb. 26 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, which is expected to have an odd 2:1 aspect ratio QHD+ display and an enhanced thermal management system, according to a report. Stay tuned for more details soon.
