Top 10 Trending Phones Of Week 5; Samsung Galaxy S8 & Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 On The List
CJ EstimadaEvery end of each week, GSM Arena produces a chart of its top 10 trending phones based on searches of a particular brand or model. Hits are then tallied on a weekly basis. On top of the list for week 5 is Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi with its Redmi Note 4 with MediaTek chipset. It has been on the charts for three consecutive weeks now.
Next on the list is the Galaxy J7 Prime. This Samsung mid-ranger phone is not without a premium feel. The Nokia 6 is at third place; it was second for two straight weeks. The fourth on the list is the still the previous week's number 4 -- the 2016 Galaxy J7, also known as Duos. So-called the selfie expert, Oppo's F1S ,which was released in August 2016, is fifth in the roster.
Trending Devices With A Snappy Performance
Furthermore, Xiaomi has another entrant on week 5's top 10 trending phones. The Redmi Note 3 now ranks sixth. According to Android Authority, everything about this device is fast -- even its fingerprint reader. The Redmi Note 3 excels in key areas where its competitors do not. The only downside is there is no US availability other than online.
A newcomer to the top 10 trending phones chart is the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8. It is speculated to be available in the market by end of March; yet, it has made its way to the number seven spot on this list. This perhaps goes to show that Samsung fans can't help talking about the company's next flagship phone.
More Mid-range Smartphones Trending In The Weekly Top 10
The top 10 list also mentions another Samsung device. This time, the recently launched Galaxy A5 made it on spot number 8. Xiaomi is not to be left behind, though, as its second entrant is on number nine. Redmi Note 4, which ranked eighth on week 4's top 10 trending phones list is week 5's 9th placer. Finally, on the 10th spot is another mid-range device, Vivo V5, writes GSM Arena.
Altogether, the best phones are mostly in this Top 10 weekly trending list and it is recommended holding off buying a new phone until looking at each one's specs and key features.. Will we continue to see the Redmi Note 4 on week 6? Find out here, next week.
