Nicole T.PlayStation Now has added 12 new Koei Tecmo games to their lineup. Notably, there are already over 450 games available on Sony's streaming service. For this month, Sony has added Koei Tecmo titles such as "Samurai Warriors 4" and "Dynasty Warrior 6 Empires."
PlayStation Now is a streaming service created by Sony wherein PlayStation 3 games can be played on PlayStation 4. New games are added each month. "Red Dead Redemption," "The Last of Us," "Beyond: Two Souls" and "Tomb Raider" are some of the popular existing titles on this service.
For this month, Sony has decided to add 12 Koei Tecmo titles. However, according to GameSpot, PlayStation's official blog has only covered two-thirds of their February PS Now releases. These titles have also been highlighted in PlayStation Now's February release video.
Apart from "Samurai Warriors 4" and "Dynasty Warrior 6 Empires," other titles include: "Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War" and "Warriors: Legends of Troy," all of which are hack-and-slash games. Other titles are beloved JRPGs like "Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star." There's also an action shooter game titled "Quantum Theory" and ninja-based games such as "Ninja Gaiden Z" and "Ninja Gaiden 3."
Koei Temco has recently released "Nioh" on February 7, in North America. The rest of the world will get the game on February 8, except Japan where the same will be rolled out on February 9.
"Nioh" is considered as Koei Temco's big release this year. It's an action RPG game which takes place in a fictionalized 1600's in Japan, known as the Sengoku period. Players will control a Western samurai known as William. His main goal is to clear several areas of varying enemies such as humans to yokai or monsters.
The PlayStation's official blog post created by PlayStation Now senior marketing manager, Brian Dunn, also mentioned about the popular titles for the month of January including "Red Dead Redemption," "Tekken Tag Tournament 2," "Mortal Kombat," "WWE 2K15," "Mafia II" and "Injustice: Gods Among Us."
