‘Emerald City’ Episode 9 News, Updates: Lucas Will Kill Dorothy? [SPOILERS]
Rommel“Emerald City” is about to come to an end. While the show was not renewed for a second season yet, it, nevertheless, is cooking something up in its upcoming episodes that would surely prove to TV executives that they are making a huge mistake in pulling the plug on the show. This is what has been indicated in the show’s latest preview.
"Emerald City" Episode 9 Spoilers: One of the things that viewers and fans might expect from the show is the crumbling romance between the show’s protagonists, Dorothy and Lucas. As indicated by previous episodes, things between Dorothy and Lucas seem to be falling apart. This is due to the recent occurrences in the show’s universe that somehow got out of control—especially for them.
For those who are just tuning into the ‘Emerald City,’ the show’s synopsis goes like this: “The wizard (played by Vincent D’Onofrio) arrives at the “Kingdom of Ev” while negotiations between warring factions were undergoing. Dorothy (played by Adria Arjona) and Lucas (played Oliver Jackson-Cohen) are two star-crossed lovers finding themselves on opposite sides of the warring factions. Meanwhile, Jack (played by Gerran Howell), concocts a move that leads to a deadly conclusion. In another place in the kingdom, Tip (played by Jordan Loughran) and West (played by Ana Ularu) strengthen their bond and engage a battle of their own.
Despite raving reviews about the show’s premise and story, it struggled immensely in order to revive its disappointing ratings. The low ratings that the show got had remained constant and steady despite efforts to improve it. This prompted the network executives to not renew the show for another season—much to the disappointment of the show’s most avid and loyal fans. While all of these seem to have been based on speculations, the figures (i.e. ratings) do not lie. By the looks of it, and based on established patterns of behavior from other unsuccessful TV series, cancellation seems to be a foregone conclusion.
