Activision has announced that its highly -anticipated Remastered "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" arrives on June 30 to commemorate its 20th year anniversary in September 2016. It was initially reported in October 2016 where it appeared on the game's list page that it will be released on Feb. 28 for two international retailers, the Zilliongames (Brazil) and VPD.fi (Finland) but it appears that it was only a placeholder date as 2017 was sole verified release date when Activision announced the game at E3 last year.

Polygon reports that the "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will include "Crash Bandicoot," "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" and "Crash Bandicoot: Warped," which costs $39.99 and fans can now pre-order it at many retailers. The Remastered trilogy features new animations, new lighting, enhanced cinematics for 4K and the PlayStation 4 Pro with new graphics and sounds, a complete remastered soundtrack, integrated checkpoints, manual and auto-save, pause menus, enhanced bonus levels and times trials and complete analog stick support.

On Feb. 16, Vicarious Visions teased on Twitter that a big announcement is to be made about "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" where they included a video suggesting a release date for the franchise. According to GameSpot, the aforementioned first three games in the franchise were first created by Naughty Dog but Activision's Vicarious Visions is creating the PS4 game.

Moreover, the original games' level geometry is being used by Vicarious Visions although the gameplay is being recreated from scratch. Reports say that "Skylanders Imaginators" was also made by Vicarious Visions where "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" was also featured.

"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" has been everyone's favorite and Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg in 2011 has also expressed his desire in bringing the game back. In 2012, co-creators Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin also said that they would love to see it again, which Gavin added that he wanted to see a 4K support of the game.
