‘Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’ Remaster Update: Not A PS4 Exclusive, Could Have PC & Xbox One Version
CJ Estimada"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" fans are a bit confused whether or not the game is going remain exclusive for PlayStation 4. In a recent tweet from the official PlayStation Ireland, Sony candidly said that the game is exclusive to PS4. However, later on, the tweet was deleted and replaced by a different story altogether.
The Exclusivity Clarification
According to Sony, "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is coming to PS4, and PS4 Pro first. PlayStation Ireland in another tweet offered clarification on the matter by stating, "To clarify our earlier post, it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first.'' The key word here is "first," indicative of that it will also release on other non-Sony platforms.
"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" Probability For Other Platforms
"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is certainly not a PS4 exclusive but rather a timed exclusive that one day could come to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, if Activision would be so inclined. From the developer's point of view, it makes sense to have "N. Sane Trilogy" Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC versions, given the fervor surrounding its release ever since its initial reveal back at the E3 2016, writes PlayStation Universe.
It now appears that "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" may well be set to come to further consoles apart from the PS4, following something of an embarrassing leak on the part of PlayStation Ireland. It was revealed with the non-stop action trailer that the "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will come to PlayStation 4 on June 30.
"N. Sane Trilogy" is a remastered version of the first three Crash games, "Crash Bandicoot," "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" and "Crash Bandicoot: Warped." Those games were developed by Naughty Dog, but it's Vicarious Visions that's handling the remastered "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy." "Crash" is in general associated with the PlayStation family of systems. Later games and spinoffs in the series were also released on non-Sony platforms once publishing rights shifted to companies like Sierra, Vivendi and Activision.
