Sony is on the verge of unveiling a major PlayStation Plus February 2017 update. Since details about the lineup of games slated to arrive on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita are few and far between, it looks like fans will have to continue waiting with bated breath to take a gander at the full roster of games.

If Sony sticks to its pattern of changing PS Plus lineup on first Tuesday, avid gamers will have something to cheer about on Feb. 7. It's worth noting that the company reveals PlayStation Plus free games, which comprise a couple of games for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita almost simultaneously. Moreover, there's word floating around that the official PlayStation Plus February 2017 may unveil a new PlayStation VR game.

Much to the delight of avid gamers, aside from those who have PlayStation VR, fans without PlayStation VR may also be able to delve into the game provided, it has a PSVR Patch, according to Express.

During the launch of PlayStation Plus, Sony had hinted at VR games for the console, however, since then the console maker's lip have been sealed regarding the matter. The PlayStation Plus February 2017 update is highly anticipated and avid gamers are looking forward to first Tuesday of next month for a possible reveal.

Meanwhile, Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" is headed towards the 17th Annual GDCA Audience Award. The hit survival video game is listed alongside a slew of other titles including "Battlefield 1" and "Dishonored 2" as a GDCA nominee on GDC Awards official website. Voting ends Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

The release date for "Crash Bandicoot's" long awaited remake, on the other hand, continues to remain a mystery despite multiple sources hinting at a 2017 debut for the game. A Czech retailer recently pointed to a June 30 launch for the "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" and it seems legit as well since it's a Friday when game developers usually prefer to launch their games in the UK and Europe.

Activision is hard at works on "Crash Bandicoot" Remastered Collection and more info about the title is expected to surface online in near future. Stay tuned in here for more details!
