Looks like the huge fanbase of "League of Legends" finally have something to shout about in the form of a new Festival Queen Anivia skin.

Leaving her age-old Cryophoenix roots behind, Festival Queen Anivia has finally cut loose as she steps out in her 'queen of the party' avatar. The game's official website recently gave "LoL" fans a brief glimpse at the Wings of Revelry animated short and "behind the curtains" on Festival Queen Anivia skin's beginning. Riot Games deems it as the new "League of Legends" skin that is culturally inspired.

The bright and colorful "League of Legends," Festival Queen Anivia skin is already up for grabs for 975 RP. The newfangled skin design is the brainchild of a community creator in Argentina, Jesica "Artsed" Paulin. The new skin draws inspiration from the Russian Maslenitsa, the Murgas in Argentina, and The Mardi Gras in the United States to name a few.

According to Artsed, "League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia's new skin at fist features a lifeless color scheme. She thought Anivia would look a lot better if she donned a shiny skin complemented with some bright purple and pinks. She also drew inspiration from the costumes and make-up that dancers exhibited during the parades.

The original sketch comprised a mask covering Anivia's face and bright feathers. It gradually transformed into a mask-like design for her wings, with more details centering on the floats and the frame headdresses dancers donned, WWG reported.

Despite the welcome diversion from the usual and ordinary, Riot Games ensured that a few things had a direct bearing on Carnaval. In addition, the game developer also made certain that Anivia's ancient roots didn't undergo a radical overhaul to the extent that it ends up losing its identity.

It took some time to figure out Anivia's skin, according to NA's Product Manager Carlos "IamCarlos" Giffoni. It took them quite a few attempts to get the perfect series of actions from all the pieces as well. Apparently, all the hard work has been worth it as "IamCarlos" confirmed that the team is delighted at what arrived finally as "League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia's new skin.

It's worth noting that the new "League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia skin is also up for grabs with Festival Queen Icon for 1500 IP. Watch the video for more details and share your thoughts about the new skin in the comments section below!
