"Rick and Morty" Season 3 release date remains a mystery to loyal followers of the Adult Swim series. In a recent statement, series creator Dan Harmon shared that he and Justin Roiland are the reason for the delay in the show's premiere.

This has reportedly led to allegations that Harmon and Roiland are fighting over the creative process of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. However, Harmon was quick to point out that he meant something else when he said that they fight all the time, reports Den of Geek.

Harmon clarified his statement via a post on Twitter and said that the "fight" that he had with Roiland was something about keeping "Rick and Morty" Season 3 perfect. According to Harmon, he and Roiland are clashing ideas because they both want to give the best stories out there for the new season.

Meanwhile, many fans are expecting to hear new "Rick and Morty" Season 3 updates at the upcoming Emerald City Comicon in Seattle. As Nerdist reports, "The Art of Rick and Morty" will be unveiled during the said event.

The publication also shared a teaser photo of the art book based on "Rick and Morty," which will be released in stores on Sept. 12. This book will reportedly feature comments from the show's creators along with illustrations and concept art.
