After being stuck in beta for quite a while now, Bethesda has finally released their highly awaited new collectible card video game (CCG), "The Elder Scrolls: Legends," for the Apple iOS. However, the game isn't quite ready for mobile yet and only those who have Apple iPad 4 tablets or higher running iOS 10 will be able to try out the game.

"The Elder Scrolls: Legends" was officially released for the Windows PC earlier this month, and so far, it has gotten some positive feedback from gamers and critics alike. The CCG space has for the longest time been dominated by Blizzard's "Hearthstone" card game, but Bethesda's new offering may become a worthy contender.

Similar to how "Hearthstone" taps into the deep lore of the "Warcraft" franchise, Bethesda's "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" also delves deep into the storylines and history of "The Elder Scrolls" property. The game itself also offers some unique features that aren't found in any other CCG games out in the market, as per a report from Touch Arcade.

"The Elder Scrolls: Legends" offers players several modes, including a story mode containing hours of gameplay and a single players mode against AI opponents. Players also have the option to upgrade their own cards as opposed to collecting new ones, which creates a unique environment and experience for CCG veterans. Additionally, a report from Polygon reveals that the game also offers a unique split lane gameplay that affects how players will be using their resources in each battle.

Bethesda has yet to reveal when the game would be coming out for the iPhone or for Android devices. However, the full iOS version for "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" should be out by this summer. The Android version hasn't been verified yet, but it is expected to come seeing as that there is a huge market for the game within the particular operating system. Apple iPad owners can download and try out the game right now on the Apple App Store for free.
