Samsung launched its Galaxy J7 Prime smartphone back in Sept. 2016 and the device is currently up for grabs online as well as in retail outlets.

The Galaxy J7 Prime boasts a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with 1080 X 1920 pixels resolution at 401 PPI (pixels per inch). A compelling 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor will be powering up the Galaxy J7 Prime, which packs 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable (up to 256GB via a microSD card) internal storage, Gadgets 360 reported. There's also hearsay that Samsung is currently hard at works on a 32GB version of the Galaxy J series smartphone.

On optics front, the Galaxy J7 Prime features a 13MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 with the company's own TouchWiz UI over the top. It is backed by a 3300mAh battery, which is nonremovable. In terms of dimensions, the J7 Prime measures 151.50 (Height) x 74.90 (Width) x 8.10 (Thickness) and weighs in at 167 grams.

Moreover, the J7 Prime offer a slew of connectivity options including a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, microUSB 2.0, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Price

According to the device's listing on the South Korean handset maker's official website, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime price in India starts from INR 15,900, which converts roughly to $246. Meanwhile, e-commerce website OnlyMobile (via BGR) listed the aforesaid 32GB model for INR 16,900 (about $261). Tata CLiQ offers the device for the same price. The J7 Prime will be up for grabs in Black and Gold color options.

The J7 Prime is also listed on 91mobiles bearing a price tag of INR 15, 184 (about $235) for the regular model and INR 16,900 (about $261) for the 32GB variant of the smartphone; however, the phone is not available for sale.
