It appears as though the CEO is giving consumers the hint regarding the upcoming OnePlus 5. In other words, it will be released without the touch latency issue that the OnePlus 3 encountered. Through this, it can be presumed that the soon to be released OnePlus 5 carried a great improvement compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 3.
According to BGR, the upcoming flagship device will also come with the latest Android 7.1.1 nougat, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage. In addition, it is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor along with the Andreno 540 GPU.
Digital Trends reported that the upcoming OnePlus 5 might come with a smaller bezel. While Android Headlines said that the device will have a 23MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera. It was also said in the report that it will have a dual camera set up on the back.
June 30 is the date set for the official launch of OnePlus 5 and it will be tagged with $540. An expanded screen is also expected to be included in the physical feature. The Chinese tech giant will just need to find the right spot for the fingerprint sensor. It is also speculated to compete against the Galaxy S8, LG G6, and iPhone 8.
If all of these features of the upcoming OnePlus flagship phone are true, then the company will have an awesome and affordable Android smartphone that might compete with Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6, says Yahoo.
