As Samsung's Galaxy S24 unveiling approaches on January 17, leaked details from Austria suggest enticing pre-order promotions.

Galaxy S24 Pre-Order Promotion

In Austria and potentially other EU nations, buyers stand to receive a complimentary storage upgrade when pre-ordering. This means opting for the 128GB model secures a 256GB version, and the trend continues, even extending to the 1TB Galaxy S24 Ultra.

However, the 1TB option is restricted to only 2,000 units across participating Austrian retailers, and a similar limitation may apply in other countries where the promotion is active.

A trade-in program will also be available from January 17 to January 30, offering a guaranteed €100 bonus on top of the determined trade-in value for old smartphones or tablets. Exclusive online color options include Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, and Sandstone Orange for the S24 and S24+, while the S24 Ultra will feature Titanium Green, Titanium Blue, and Titanium Orange.

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S24 series is rumored to receive seven years of updates, as leaked promotional materials obtained by Android Headlines suggested. While Samsung currently provides four years of major OS upgrades and five years of security updates, extending it to seven years is a notable move, enhancing the devices' longevity.

The leaked details of whether the seven years include all Android updates or are limited to security updates are somewhat unclear.

Additionally, the report hints at potential charges for advanced Galaxy AI features, such as Live Translate and photo editing tools, starting after 2025. Users may enjoy these AI features for free until the mentioned period. The leaked materials also suggest requiring a Samsung account login to access specific AI features on the Galaxy S24 lineup. The official unveiling at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event later this week is expected to clarify these details and unveil the extent of the Galaxy S24's capabilities and updates.

Leaked Galaxy S24 Ultra Videos Showcase Titanium Yellow, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Gray

Unboxing clips, now out in the open, give us a glimpse of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra's new hues: Titanium Yellow, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Gray. These versions flaunt frames bathed in silver, plus camera rings that mirror each shade.

Past leaks had alluded to a frame of titanium for this device - akin to what Apple's iPhone 15 Pro boasts. Strikingly absent from these clips is a black model with its matching frame, despite earlier images suggesting such an edition.

Samsung has yet to reveal if using titanium in their new phone's frame boosts its strength. We expect more details at the Unpacked 2024 event, which is set for January 17. Preorder perks for those eyeing the Galaxy S24 Ultra will differ by region; they might snag wireless buds, a Galaxy Watch, extra space, or Samsung Care+ plans.

The Galaxy S24, specifically the Yellow Amber variant with 128GB storage, has appeared on a Mexican retailer's website, Doto. Priced at MXN 16,499 ($975), the 256GB version is listed for MXN 17,999 ($1,065), maintaining a comparable launch price to its predecessor, the Galaxy S23.

Other color options for the smartphone are also mentioned on the website.

The listing suggests that availability is constrained, purporting to have only ten units remaining of the 128GB version and a meager four units of the higher 256GB capacity still available in stock. While these prices might be provisional, the accidental appearance of the webpage suggests it may have been published prematurely.
