In an exciting revelation for tech enthusiasts, recent CAD renders of the highly anticipated iPhone 16 have surfaced. The renders showcase innovative design changes that promise to elevate user experience.

The leaks suggest a departure from the norm with a vertical rear camera island, adding two new buttons, and other intriguing modifications.

Vertical Camera Island and Capture Button

The most striking feature unveiled by the CAD renders is the vertical camera layout on the iPhone 16, a deviation from its predecessor's diagonal arrangement. The slim, vertically aligned camera island is expected to house dual camera sensors, offering a fresh aesthetic and potentially improved camera capabilities.

The inclusion of a dedicated Capture button, rumored to be pressure-sensitive, is situated below the power button on the left spine. This button aims to enhance video recording capabilities, allowing users to adjust focus and zoom during capture.

Action Button Enlargement on iPhone 16 Pro

Moving to the Pro variant, leaked schematics of the iPhone 16 Pro reveal an enlarged Action Button positioned atop the volume rocker on the left side. The elliptical-shaped Action Button, introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro models, serves various functions like activating the flashlight, opening the camera, or integrating with the Shortcuts app.

Additionally, the Pro model introduces a new Capture key, strategically placed in the lower right area, below the power button. This recessed key is expected to serve as a dedicated mechanical camera shortcut, enabling users to swiftly capture photos and record videos, including spatial formats compatible with the Vision Pro headset.

Dimensions and Design Consistency

The iPhone 16 Pro is depicted as slightly taller and broader than its predecessor, supporting speculation about a larger 6.3-inch display. The design retains the flat frame with rounded corners and a camera hump featuring individual lens cutouts.

The front panel maintains a dull appearance alongside Dynamic Island sensors. While exterior changes are minimal, the focus is on internal upgrades, with the A18 Pro chipset expected to power the iPhone 16 Pro, introducing on-device AI features.

iPhone 16 Standard Models Design Upgrades

While the standard iPhone 16 models retain the current screen size, they are anticipated to bring significant design upgrades. The CAD render reveals a slimmed-down camera island similar to the Pro model and introduces two new buttons. Replacing the ring/silent switch with the Action button, now a staple from the iPhone 15 Pro, offers users customizable quick actions.

On the opposite side, the rumored Capture button is positioned below the power button. This multifunctional button is poised to enhance photography in landscape orientation, featuring pressure-sensitive capabilities for added flexibility.

Powering the iPhone 16 Series

Sparkling with intrigue, the speculations surrounding Apple's impending iPhone 16 lineup never cease. Rumors have swirled that this forthcoming series will feature not one, not two, but five potential models, all powered by TSMC's incredibly innovative 3nm A18 processor, promising unprecedented velocity and smoother usability.

With such sophisticated silicon underpinning the range, it's easy to envision the iPhone 16 collection rising to the pinnacle of the cutthroat smartphone world.

These proposed digital sketches offer a tantalizing tease of the capabilities and advances audiences could get from Apple's approaching flagship telephone, the iPhone 16, as the tech neighborhood eagerly watches for its formal unveiling.

With the supposed addition of novel buttons and a reinvented camera scheme, end users may be able to utilize their cell phones with more adaptability and oversight.
